Helga Björnsson
Helga Björnsson is an Icelandic designer who studied at Les Arts Décoratifs in Paris before becoming the main designer at the high fashion house Louis Férraud. Her designs, full of life, patterns and colors reigned over the company from the 70s until the early 00s. Helga has occassionally worked in Iceland, as a costume designer at The National theatre, as well as designing scarves and other clothing. Part of her extensive sketch and garment collection is now part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Design and Applied Art of Iceland.
Helga's energy and humour shines through all of her work. We are so thrilled to have her artworks on our walls but also for sale in our café.
